Superior Performance and Handling

Visionary Vehicles' PHEVs will be engineered to deliver a superior driving experience in addition to substantially reduced fuel consumption and emissions. Because the gas engine serves a limited purpose, it can be significantly smaller than those in existing gas-electric hybrids and can be operated at a constant optimal speed regardless of driving demands, thus maximizing fuel efficiency and minimizing emissions. The engine can be flexibly engineered to use bio-fuels or can be diesel powered, although initially we plan to employ state of the art gasoline engines. In addition, Visionary Vehicles' PHEVs will not require the complex drivetrain components used in gas-electric hybrids to route power from the two power sources under varying driving conditions. Using an electric motor alone to drive the wheels also creates the opportunity to provide all-wheel drive with minimal added complexity or cost.

Styling and Performance

Visionary Vehicles will introduce styling, features and qualities formally only reserved for luxury brands and combine it with ground breaking environmental responsibility for a new group of consumers - those that demand the best ownership experience within a budget and be environmentally conscious at the same time.

Styling of the Bricklin Collection will be guided by Malcolm Bricklin and executed by Herb Grasse- iconic designer of the world's first safety vehicle, Bricklin's own SV-1. Years ahead of its time and widely acclaimed for its combination of form and function, Herb Grasse's breakthrough styling will again provide fresh industry leading direction.

Without compromise, Mr. Bricklin's unmatched knowledge of consumer automotive expectations will guarantee that Visionary's vehicles will be fun to drive, be elegantly appointed and perform on a par with the world's best - while at the same time setting new benchmarks for passenger safety and crash ratings, meeting all US safety and emissions standards - in short compromising nothing - while bringing to the world the benefits of environmentally responsible energy-efficient battery powered vehicles.

Working with leading automotive engineering firms, Visionary Vehicles will design, engineer and distribute vehicles that will compete with luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi and Lexus in terms of quality, styling and performance, while exclusively using PHEV technology, replacing conventional engines and drivetrains, something not offered by any competing brands. Expect acceleration, braking and cornering to meet if not exceed the current benchmark vehicles in every segment we enter.


After traveling its full range, the PHEV can be refueled at any gas station and immediately resume driving, continuing to rely on the generator to recharge the batteries. If the vehicle operates solely on its battery, the cost to recharge it at off-peak times (overnight) equates to approximately $.50 a gallon. Even when its proposed fixed RPM, on-board engine is running to recharge the battery, the expected fuel economy is very good and may approach 100 miles per gallon. Additionally, emissions will be extremely low as well (near zero); the result of the engine running at a set rpm (conventional vehicles produce the greatest emissions when their engine speed varies).

The Company's PHEVs will be engineered to deliver equivalent performance with substantially lower emissions and fuel consumption. Reliance on the electric motor alone to drive the wheels creates the opportunity to provide all-wheel drive with minimal added complexity or cost.

Visionary Vehicles will employ a lithium-ion battery that incorporates phosphate based cathode materials (versus cobalt-oxide cathode materials in general use today) that effectively addresses safety concerns while retaining the advantages of traditional lithium-ion, including: energy density; long cycle life; long service life; long shelf life; low maintenance; and absence of "memory effect" or "ghosting".

In short, consumers will be offered environmentally responsible technology and substantial fuel savings with no compromises in terms of cost, safety or driving experience.
